Recovery by James Arthur

This morning when I was browsing randomly on YT. I came across a past X-Factor UK winner, James Arthur. I like singing competitions because it wakes my critical side music-wise. Having said that this guy impressed me that I’ve been watching his videos for hours.

My early favorite would have to be “Recovery.” The song speaks for itself and felt true. Not to mention how James voice depicts pain and hope at the same time. Perhaps the lyrics made me fall in love with this song. One of the few powerful songs I have heard in the last ten years.

“I define. I design my recovery.” Simple yet profound. For people who are going through adversities, friends and family can definitely help you but at the end of the day, it’s still you who’s going to define how you’ll get up. This is the very message of the song. So for those who can relate, here’s the video and I hope you share his music to anyone you know. Spread the love.
